Interlibrary Loan

InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is a system that helps libraries around the country lend materials to each other for their patrons. If the Rock Valley Public Library does not have an item you want, we can request it for you from another library.

You may request items from other libraries by filling out the Interlibrary Loan Request and Agreement Form at the library or the online form here. 

We will notify you when an item is available for pick-up. Most items arrive in 1-2 weeks. In some cases, we may not be able to borrow the item for you, especially if it's a new or popular title.

There is no fee for a one-month checkout, although a $3.00 fee will be applied for items that are requested and not picked up.
